HOW DO I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?

WHAT IS THE AVERAGE COST OF A MEDICAL CONSULTATION?

Medical consultations can vary between US $ 5.00 to $20.00 depending on exams are carried out during your visit.

I ALREADY SCHEDULED MY APPOINTMENT, WHAT SHOULD I KNOW BEFORE ATTENDING?

Thank you for scheduling your appointment with us. Please read the following information carefully:

1. You must arrive on time, no more than 10 minutes before your appointment. We schedule blocks of approximately 10 patients for each time slot.

2. Patients are allowed to be accompanied by max 1 person.

3. The average wait time from your appointment until the time when you exit our institution is approximately two hours, depending on exams carried out during your visit.

4. Please bring the patient’s identity document to the medical consultation.

5. If the patient wears glasses or takes any medication continuously, please bring them to the appointment.

6. If the patient has diabetes, please bring the most up-to-date glucose results.

I ALREADY SCHEDULED MY SURGERY, WHAT SHOULD I KNOW BEFORE ATTENDING?

1. Please call us two days before to confirm the time of your surgery. The appointed time is the time at which the patient should arrive at our institution. The patient will then go through a pre-surgery check-up before going into the operating room.

2. Please arrive on time and come with one family member.

3. The patient should have breakfast prior to his/her surgery.

4. Please wear a button-down shirt or blouse and comfortable shoes.

5. Do not bring any jewelry or other valuable items. Please do not wear make up the day of your surgery.

6. If the patient takes aspirin or any anticoagulant, it should be suspended one week prior to surgery.

HOW CAN I COORDINATE A MEDICAL SCREENING FOR MY COMMUNITY?

One of our commitments is to help communities through training and medical care. Please call us at 0963150056 and ask the operator to speak with someone in the Administrative Department. We have screening programs for seniors, diabetics, and schoolchildren, and will be happy to work together in order to help your community!

IS THERE A PLACE TO STAY NEAR THE FOUNDATION?

Yes, our foundation has a simple but clean and comfortable hostel in case you need to stay before or after surgery. This service is free of charge for patients and costs US $5 for one family member.

DO YOU HAVE AN OPTICAL SERVICE?

Yes, we provide optical services (reading glasses, custom made glasses, accessories) using high quality glasses and frames at accessible prices.

DO YOU ACCEPT HEALTH INSURANCE?

Our foundation was created to give access to patients who do not have any type of private medical insurance. However, depending on the case, we can accept insurance through reimbursements directly requested by the patient.
